Stronger skin begins with barrier repair.
Strengthens & smooths for an improved skin barrier
Visibly firms & supports elasticity for younger-looking skin
Prevents moisture loss for all-day hydration
For optimal hydration, the specialised moisture complex delivers water where your skin needs it most. A powerful blend of five skin-identical ceramides & cholestrol replenishes the skin barrier. It does so by encouraging the skin's own ceramides to self-hydrate, meaning your skin barrier can function at its best – all the time. The formula also protects the skin's natural collagen levels for firmer-looking skin & reduced look of wrinkles with continued use. Tripeptide-5 helps to support firmness & elasticity, while watermelon seed oil helps to maintain hydration and soothe the skin. This silky lightweight lotion with a dewy finish won't weigh you down.
The packaging for the full-size is 36.51% recycled plastic (by weight).

How to use a moisturiser
Once or twice daily, apply a small amount to face and neck. For daytime, always finish with SPF 30+.
With the success of our RESIST anti-ageing collection, we saw the opportunity to reformulate our longstanding Barrier Repair Moisturiser with Retinol and offer an advanced formula providing even more barrier-supporting ingredients & all-day hydration. Our assortment now includes an innovative moisturiser that is truly suitable for all skin types and all routines. Whether you’re already a RESIST fan or new to the collection, this barrier-strengthening formula is a must-have!
One of the main differences is that our new formula does not contain retinol. In addition, the new Advanced Moisturiser is now formulated for all skin types with even more barrier-supporting ingredients to help counter dehydration & dryness which can lead to signs of sensitivity, redness, itching and an overall dull, depleted look. The new formula also includes watermelon seed oil, which has linoleic acid content: the building block of skin’s own ceramides and tripeptide 5 which targets wrinkles and loss of firmness. Both formulas have a similar texture.
Yes, because it is a repairing moisturiser that helps to strengthen, smooth & improve a delicate skin barrier. This moisturiser also helps to deliver the ingredients that your skin needs to create its own ceramides which are the foundational building blocks of healthy, strong skin. Note, however, that this is not a wound-healing product and should not be used on broken skin.
Yes, because the formula is packed with barrier-strengthening & soothing ingredients which can be helpful in improving symptoms of rosacea such as redness, sensitivity and skin that feels dry, tight, itchy, or uncomfortable.
The specialised moisture complex is an advanced hydrating blend of ingredients that occur as part of the skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF). With age and accumulated environmental damage, skin becomes less able to replenish these hydrating substances, leading to dryness and dullness. Lack of these moisturising factors also impacts skin cell turnover (causing it to slow & become uneven) leading to a water imbalance in the uppermost layers. Key ingredients in this complex include sodium PCA, sodium hyaluronate, glycerine, urea and trehalose.
Via a specialised combination of ingredients that work together to keep the skin hydrated and protected. Glycerine, urea & sodium PCA team up to hold water in the top layers of our skin. Trehalose (a kind of sugar) helps make the skin's outer layers stronger & better at keeping moisture in. Sodium hyaluronate acts like a water reservoir on the surface of our skin. Polyquaternium-51 (also included in this formula) helps strengthen the skin's protective barrier while the combination of ceramides & cholesterol in the complex further helps to repair and strengthen.
